The Benefits Of Vegetables For Weight Loss are Many; Low Calories in Vegetables is Just One of Them …

I give you a simple, healthy, powerful AND tasty method to shed pounds:

Substitute all of the carbs and sugar in your diet with Cruciferous and other Vegetables, such as Spinach.

Examples:

• Broccoli
• Caulioflower
• Cabbage
• Sauerkraut (fermented cabbage)
• Rotkohl (red cabbage)
• Brussels Sprouts
• Beetroot
• Spinach

So I was in the judo club and Bjorn, the heavyweight black belt asked me:
“If you are to give me the simplest feasible trick for losing weight, what would this be?”

And I suggested: “That’s easy, simply substitute all carbs with vegetables.”

Bjorn: “Eat more vegetables? Sure, I read about that one previously. … However, precisely how do you DO that?”

“Well,” I said, “you please take a fork. You are taking a vegetable, position that upon the fork. You open your mouth … ” Naaaaw, only kidding …

However , I could see the problem:
And so I decided to prepare a quick and straightforward write-up, showing the best way to replace bad carbohydrate food with great veggies …

Here’s your How-To Guide:

When preparing meals that normally would go together with, say, spuds, here’s what I propose it is best to do:

Throw out the potatoes, or give them to someone.

Exchange them with for example Baked Cauliflower in Low Fat Cheese-Sauce instead (see the recipe below).

Done! It’s as easy as that!

Poor Carbs/Carbs to Avoid are: White Rice, Pasta, Bread, Potatoes, Pizza Dough, Anything With Wheat In It, Most Breakfast Cereals … etc.

Recipe Suggestion:
Baked Cauliflower in Low Fat Cheese-Sauce
• 1 medium head cauliflower cut into florets
• 1 tbsp vegetable stock
• 2 cups baby spinach (100 gram)
• 1 cup low-fat milk
• 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup low-fat milk
• 1/2 cup sharp reduced-fat cheese (low fat cheddar and/or roquefort)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Celcius or 190 Fahrenheit.
Steam cauliflower florets for just a couple of minutes to medium-rare (still with a decent bite/crunch)
Put cauliflower and spinach in baking dish.
Heat milk inside a saucepan, add in cornstarch/milk-mixture and mix until thickened. Finally mix in the cheese till melted.
Spice to taste with black pepper, garlic and onion powder plus a bit of nutmeg and curry powder.
Pour cheese sauce over cauliflower. Bake for 20 minutes.
Serves 4
