Nairobi Hotels – Six new additions in the Nairobi accommodation scene
Nairobi, Kenya’s capital – fondly referred to as the city in the sun – offers a wide range of accommodation. Many visitors on their Kenya safaris as well as Tanzania safaris find themselves starting and ending their trips in Nairobi.
Over the past couple of years, quite a number of hotels have come up in Nairobi and some of these new additions include:
PrideInn Hotel – this hotel is located in the Westlands area of Nairobi offering a mid range alternative. Ole Sereni – Ole Sereni Hotel is located just off the Mombasa Road, overlooking the famous Nairobi National Park. Sankara Nairobi – This hotel which has recently opened its doors is located in Westlands Nairobi, right next door to the jacaranda Hotel and opposite the Sarit Centre. Nairobi Tented Camp – This camp nestles deep within a riverine forest in the heart of Nairobi National Park and is the first accommodation allowed in the Nairobi National Park. It is a small intimate camp and accommodation rates include game activities. If you are looking to stay at this camp, you do have to pay daily park fees and camping fees. Accommodation rates are available on half board and full board meal plans, starting from approximately USD 290 per person. This covers transfers, game activities, park fees,meals on your choice of meal plan as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
