It is a joyous occasion when you learn that you are going to be a new parent. In a short time there is going to be a new baby and you will have responsibility to take care of that child and meet his or her every need.

If this child was your first, there will likely be hundreds of photographs available. While you may not be able to have all of them displayed on the walls, an album will allow you to display the shots into an organized life story. By using the albums, you can portray many of life’s major events. There may be photos of the trip home from the hospital or the first tooth. Perhaps you will have shots of a school dance or a first date. Each of those special days can be included in the scrapbook for your child.

The book will allow your baby to enjoy many of the significant events of life. It is a great way to share those special memories with your family.
Persons that scrapbook like to have many special papers and embellishments available. Some of those papers can be picked up at a good scrapbooking store or other craft stores. You will find that many family vacation spots offer these papers and embellishments that may not be available anywhere else.
If you are still at the expectant parent stage, you may want to begin collecting things now that will eventually go into a scrapbook. While you are going to be very busy the next few years, find a special spot to keep those memories so that you can present a complete scrapbook to your adult child.
